Not long after being officially and legally banned in the United States (though it is worth mentioning that the company themselves have disabled their services before the deadline), only around 14 hours after ceasing its services, the popular app TikTok has returned and is again operating. This comes as a surprise to many, because once the news spread about it becoming banned by law, not many people believed that the Supreme Court's decision could get overruled.
Surprisingly enough, the app returned its operations and is available all over the United States again, the company responsible for TikTok claiming that they are able to resume working again, all thanks to the president Donald Trump. The statement released by them on Twitter shows that they have been assured there will be no complications in the use of the app.The whole situation can be a bit tricky legally. Even if Donald Trump announces that there is no ban on TikTok, the law still persists and it can only be reversed by Congress. The president could either hope to influence it or try to work with app stores on IPhones and Android. The ban could make it troublesome for Apple and Google though, the companies might take the app down from their shops regardless, because they might not want to risk the potential consequences.
