Elon Musk has removed Asmongold's blue check mark on Twitter

     Elon Musk has recently came under fire due to his gameplay of Path Of Exile. Many streamers and gamers have pointed out that he had bought several accounts in the game (as well as in Diablo), that he did not achieve the incredibly high ranking himself, but rather, paid someone else to do it for him.

    Users on Reddit have pointed out many signs of Elon Musk's lie - the entrepreneur visibly struggled in game, even though he reached one of the top ranks in the world, which simply did not make sense - a player with his experience should not have had problems like not knowing what or where to click, which items to pick up, missing important and highly valuable items on his way to another boss (Elon Musk has stated that he is not interested in some items as they do not have 'a high level'. What the CEO was describing was the minimum requirement to use the piece of equipment and not actually the level of the equipment. Some weapons and equipment with lower level is actually stronger and more valuable!).

    Another sign that users have noticed were some of the private messages that Elon Musk had received in game. They were written in Chinese, suggesting that he had been playing on the servers located in that area and not in the USA. It has also been observed that Musk had a tab in his inventory called "Elon's maps.". While not a clear giveaway, it seems unlikely that the entrepreneur had decided to refer to himself in third person, and instead, someone else simply wrote it to him for further explanation.

    The situation received widespread coverage on YouTube, professional players and casual streamers alike made fun of Elon Musk and joked about his lies and poor gameplay. One of these content creators was Asmongold - a popular Twitch streamer, who also has a YouTube channel, that covers popular games, trending situations on the Internet, while also sometimes mentioning politics. He even got noticed by the entrepreneur, who started following him on X.

    It all changed when Asmongold had decided to comment on the situation, even challenging Elon Musk to prove that he was the one who managed to reach such a high level on that account. The entrepreneur clearly didn't like that, as he removed the streamer's blue check mark on X (which means that the creator is verified, it is also a paid feature allowing you to reach more people), as well as causing him to leak their private conversations online:

    Elon Musk has also accused Asmongold of having an editor that looks over him and controls what kind of information he can release online. However, he has mistook an editor of, let's say, a newspaper, with an editor of videos! The context should have been clear, but it is obvious that he has no idea of YouTube's side of business. Many content creators, especially streamers, have people responsible for editing their videos, so that instead of having a few hours long livestream clip, viewers can enjoy only the most interesting moments and interactions.
