Somebody threw out a 2000-year old Ancient Greek statue.

There has been a huge discovery in a small town near Thessaloniki, Greece. Someone has found a 2000-year old marble statue, completely unattended and left in a pile of trash, discarded in a black bag near a few garbage cans.

The man who has found the statue has alerted the police after the discovery and its authenticity got confirmed by the Ephorate of Antiquities in Thessaloniki. The figure is believed to date between 320 to 30 BCE. The statue is headless and approximately 80 centimiters tall and has been placed under the care of local antiquities authorities.
The local police have launched an investigation into this insane situation - after all, who would have thrown away such a precious artifact? Or maybe they were completely unaware of such an important discovery? How about you? Is this discovery going to make you go through your neighbour's trash?
